Just another wiki that I use to save notes and snippets that I find useful or forget a lot.

This is specifically what I want this wiki to be used for. Just general "Ops" stuff that random people will find useful. Full how-to guides are welcomed, however if they were pulled from another site, give credit where it is due! People spend a lot of time writing those guides, and they deserve the credit for work they have done. I am really looking for oddball stuff and even edge cases for how to fix problems that you dont always find on SO or Reddit, or where the fix was never clearly defined on those other sites.

Most stuff on here will be tech related and specifically with an Operations slant to it.

  • Even code snippets that I have on here really are for more Ops people than real developers. Most times the snippets are all over the place and kind of random on what I put in here. My hope is that they are useful for other people as well.
  • Right now my focus is on fault management tools. Specifically I am attempting to write a fault management tool that addresses some of the shortcomings of the current available tools. It is going to be open source likely under MIT, and yes I will have the code on github once I have it to the point I am not as embarrassed by it. Until then it is on my private gitlab server.
  • If someone wants to work with my code before it gets onto GitHub, ask me and i will provide temporary access.
  • There are also other random things such as how to reset the maintenance light on my car. Yes I DO keep forgetting that, sue me.

As noted in the privacy policy, if you want to contribute GREAT! I appreciate it. If you want to troll or just be a general PITA, go somewhere else.
